Mother's Day 2026 Reflection
This Mother's Day we had the most gracious customers; big spenders, thankful spouses, and folks who knew their mom was tired of cheap, heartless, flown-across-the-world (ahem...emissions) flowers. Locally grown really is better and, mother knows best!! Shoutout to our customers that gave their mothers and baby-mamas the best this year!
To be completely honest, Mother's Day is what keeps us afloat financially- yes it's that big and boomin' we can squirrel away most of it to save for the slow season. It's our favorite holiday not just because of the stability but, the customers really do want the best for their mom. Plus, the cards sons, daughters, and spouses include are really sweet to read. If someone sat The Old Soul down for an interview and asked where we see the company in five years, we could guarantee we'll still be doing Mother's Day delivery.
We hope to be a little different each year; improving our small production space, providing products sourced even more local than the year prior, and expanding our business into the garden...
Yes maaaa'am, we've been dabbling in landscaping services on the low for a few years now and are about to lock in this summer on a service/brand/rebirth that connects the cut flowers to the soil and to the soul.
Follow along on our journey to enhance the cutting gardens that started it all, and to create a resilient community connected by our personal gardens and Mother Nature herself.
We couldn't progress without your continued support- thank you for your orders and inquiries; here's to a good life, full of flowers!
